Chinese mobile giants Vivo, OPPO, and Xiaomi have teamed up to enable seamless cross-brand file transfer with just one click – the Peer-to-Peer Transmission Alliance wireless transfer system.

Through this partnership, consumers will enjoy wireless file transfer system between these three mobile brands without having to use any third-party applications. The system also supports wide range of files, including photos, videos, music, documents, and more.

Vivo highlighted that the newly launched Peer-to-Peer Transmission Alliance provides a streamlined mobile experience that doesn’t require internet connection. It only uses Bluetooth for fast pairing and WiFi P2P technology for the data transfer.

The new system has an average transfer speed of 20MB/s. Hence, consumers can expect that it has instant, stable, and high-speed connection between smartphones, as well as low power consumption.

The Peer-to-Peer Transmission Alliance will be rolled out on new Vivo products beginning February 2020.
