| Films Shot Using Huawei Phones Showcased at Huawei Film Awards |
Several famed filmmakers and artists graced the event, as they highlighted their videos shot using the Huawei Mate 30 Pro. In case you missed it, the device is currently the brand’s flagship smartphone, and just like its other handsets, the Mate 30 Pro also offers jaw-dropping camera features that can elevate your mobile photography experience. For instance, the Mate 30 Pro sports a 40-megapixel Cine Camera that supports a variety of shooting modes, allowing users to take professional-looking videos.
Renowned director, Pepe Diokno, shared his experience with the Mate 30 Pro when tapped as its main driver for his short film Things.
“We shot the whole film from morning until night and the battery lasted the whole day. We were shocked that we didn’t have to charge while shooting! Every single frame was shot using the Mate 30 Pro and we didn’t add anything else and the results were just amazing!”, Diokno noted.

Meanwhile, Huawei also announced its Asia Pacific Regional Huawei Film Awards, which will happen this coming March in Thailand. Several awards will be announced, including APAC Best Director (Male or Female), APAC Best Actor (Male or Female), APAC Best Cinematography, and Best Film in the Country Level.
So, if you’re passionate for short films and meaningful stories, you can pass your entry until February 25. The festival will be dedicated to celebrating work shot using any Huawei mobile phone.
