Realme has reached another milestone, as the young mobile brand is now one of the four biggest mobile vendors in the Philippines.

Global market research firm Canalys released its latest report, revealing that Realme recorded a whopping 709% YoY growth in the local market in Q4 2019. With this success, the Chinese mobile maker has been named as the 4th biggest smartphone manufacturer in the country.

Canalys’ recent report also showed that Realme got an impressive 9% unit share in Q4 2019.

Meanwhile, Huawei dropped to the number five spot with its 8% market share and 3% YoY growth. The research firm claimed that it was able to secure its spot – thanks to its GMS-supported Nova 5T.

On the other hand, OPPO dominated all brands, as it recorded 27% unit share and 44% YoY growth. Sitting behind OPPO is Vivo, which posted a huge 159% YoY growth and 25% unit share. Samsung, however, managed to claim the 3rd spot despite its -32% YoY growth.
