The OnePlus 8 Pro is a premium device that boasts top-of-the-line features. It comes with a 6.78-inch Fluid AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution, 3168 x 1440 pixels, HDR10+ rating, a fantastic 120Hz refresh rate, and a whopping brightness of 1,300 nits. It is housed in an aluminum frame and topped with Corning Gorilla Glass as protection. Moreover, the phone has an IP68 rating, which means it is dust and water-resistant.
Under the hood, it is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon chip, which is based on a 7nm+ process and composed of a 2.84GHz octa-core processor paired with Adreno 650 graphics. The base variant comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM, while the higher model has 12GB of RAM and 256GB ROM. However, both of them have no card slot for storage expansion.

OnePlus also up the ante of its photography department; it now has a quad-camera set-up, the first of its kind for OnePlus devices. It is composed of a 48MP main module, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, another 48MP with an ultrawide lens, and a 5MP depth sensor. The first 3 modules have phase-detection autofocus, while the first two also have optical image stabilization.
For the selfie, OnePlus dropped the motorized pop-up camera found on the OnePlus 7/7T Pro and opted for a punch-hole display that houses the 16MP front camera.
The power source is equipped with a 4510mAh battery, which, if I am not mistaken, is the biggest capacity OnePlus has put into their handset. It also comes with a 30W Warp Charge, which, according to OnePlus, can refuel the battery from 0 to 50% in just 23 minutes. Moreover, the global mobile technology company also listened to its consumers' clamor, giving the 8 Pro something that other OnePlus devices never had before - a 30W fast wireless charging and 3W reverse charging capabilities.
