| Huawei Revamps MateBook 13; Available on July 4 with a Starting Price of Php65,990 |
Featuring the signature Huawei MateBook design, which boasts a premium look combined with functionality, the Huawei MateBook 13 sports a 2K FullView Display in 2160 x 1440 resolution with multi-touch planted on a screen-to-body ratio of 88 percent.
The MateBook 13 fits a widescreen into a small chassis made possible through its side bezels measuring at just 4.4mm. Unlike most laptops in the market with a 16:9 screen ratio, the MateBook 13 comes with a 3:2 display, which brings more viewing convenience for users.
On the outside, the MateBook 13 comes dressed in a metallic, minimalist design with curved edges and has a measurement of 286 x 211 x 14.9mm and weighs at around 1.3kg.
For its internals, the MateBook 13 runs on a 10th Generation Intel Core processor. Among the improved specs of the MateBook 13 is its RAM, which now can carry up to 16GB. This is further complemented by a high-speed PCIe SSD, and up to NVIDIA GeForce MX250 with 2GB of GDDR5.
Made to perform even demanding workloads, the MateBook 13 also has Huawei’s proprietary Shark Fin Design 2.0 for its cooling system. This works through high-speed fans, which allow high airflow for maximum thermal performance without noise. This laptop also comes equipped with the Intelligent Filtering feature, which takes the job of real-time monitoring of temperature change.
