Huawei Wins Big at Interop Tokyo 2020; Bags Eight Awards in Total |
At the said tech show, Huawei was granted the grand prize in network infrastructure for its OptiXtrans OSN 9800 M12, the industry's first super C-band transmission product. The company also bagged the grand prize in cloud infrastructure for its CloudEngine 16800 data center switch, the industry's highest-density 400 GE line card for data centers in the AI era.
Huawei also received the grand prize in the server and storage category for its next-generation all-flash storage OceanStor Dorado 8000/18000 V6, oriented to core production and transaction scenarios and continuously setting performance, reliability, and intelligence benchmarks.

The technology giant was also given the grand prize in IoT and facility categories for their innovation in edge computing gateway AR502H and the eMIMO edge computing facility solution, respectively.
Apart from the major prizes, Huawei also received special recognition in enterprise IT for its 5G AR NetEngine AR60000 and in network infrastructure for the Huawei OptiXtrans DC908, an intelligent Data Center Interconnect (DCI) product with a single-fiber capacity of 88 Tbit/s and AI-enabled O&M.
The Interop Tokyo 2020 canceled its on-site demonstrations due to the consequences of the pandemic and hosted online demonstrations and online ICT award selection activities from April 13 to June 30 instead.
The said technology forum showcases the most advanced technological innovation and practices in the industry, as well as leading solutions in various fields, including AI, IoT, edge computing, and the industrial Internet.
At the Interop Tokyo 2020, Huawei demonstrated 14 products and solutions from its brand new digital intelligent ecosystem.
