Annual shareholder meetings of various companies used to be a highlight event for businesses, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, adjustments have to be made. Recognizing this, IT services provider Azeus Systems Philippines Limited “Azeus”  has introduced the Convene eAGM, an end-to-end solution which allows enterprises to host a shareholders’ meeting through the online platform.

Among the features of the Convene eAGM include tracking staff attendance with proper authorization, member registration, and digital proxy forms, facilitating participation and engagement with a Q&A space before meetings, exporting detailed reports and data once the meeting has been concluded, and broadcasting the ASM processings live for all attendees. The Convene eAGM can also be customized according to the company’s needs and branding.

According to Azeus Systems Managing Director Lee Wan Link, the Convene eAGM is included in the firm’s range of products that are designed to enable businesses and organizations to conduct remote meetings while implementing the industry’s best practices. The said solution is also their contribution to the global initiative of avoiding face-to-face meetings to combat the spread of coronavirus.

“Our overarching objective for Convene eAGM is to provide the same opportunities which a physical ASM offers, by protecting shareholders' rights while facilitating the interaction between shareholders and the panel,” Lee said.

Azeus also assured clients that data and cybersecurity is of utmost importance with their solutions. With eAGM, for example, data is stored in secure hosting facilities and protected with complex encryption algorithms. The said platform also utilizes two-factor authentication.
