"As the Philippines continues to navigate the path to further digitalization and as more businesses turn to technology for their digital transformation journey in the midst of the pandemic, Huawei Philippines hosted its annual Ecosystem Partner Summit 2021 to echo the theme "NEW VALUE TOGETHER, WIN TOGETHER. Huawei has revealed the latest Huawei Channel Partner plan, strategies, services, and, above all, the latest creative products and solutions for our partners to support partners.

Mr. Todd Liu, President of Huawei Philippines Enterprise Company, said, "Huawei has successfully served dozens of government departments, top companies, and banks in the Philippines on the road to digitalization." As more and more Philippine companies and organizations select us (Huawei) as their partner for digital transformation, our channel ecosystem is also expanding very rapidly as a result. Mr. Liu highlighted the partners' achievements, citing 300 registered partners, 51 Huawei-certified service partners, and 36 Huawei ICT Academies. 700 of our clients have already passed the Huawei tests and gained certification in 2020 as a pledge to providing the best professional support.

Huawei announced the Optimal Channel Plan, a new channel policy to incorporate the Emphasis on the Core strategy. The Optimum Channel Package, including VAP, Gold, Silver, and approved partners, could be joined by all Customer Facing Tiers. As a conventional route to market position, the Optimal Channel is not enforced. It is a channel policy and incentive program for which Huawei has long-term ambitions. "Mr. Kenneth Bi, Channels Sales Director, Enterprise Business Group, Huawei Philippines, said, "The Optimal Channel Strategy works based on BP, and we will pick and help partners who would like to invest in the Huawei business together. We would like to concentrate on these tools and help these few partners build the seeded player, I call them Core of Core.

Solutions updates focusing on the Five Core Domains were revealed during the event: Networking, Computing, Cloud, AI, and Apps, which will generate more value and synergy and promote 5G globally. Connectivity, computing, cloud, and AI are just like electricity 100 years ago, while apps for the industry are like electricity-powered home appliances and industrial equipment. Huawei claims that not only will synergies bring opportunities for Huawei through these five technology domains, but more importantly, they will present opportunities for the whole industry. With its partners, Huawei hopes to expand the whole pie, helping them reap the most benefits from the new value chain.

Huawei has confirmed the availability of Huawei Smart Solar to help the Philippine government's goal of increasing renewable energy use. Huawei provides Smart PV solutions, a leading Smart Solar Panel that harnesses more than 30 years of digital information technology experience. Huawei has released an advanced solution for commercial, industrial, and residential customers focused on the 'Optimal Electricity Cost and Active Protection' principle for solar energy users. Huawei has helped to fuel millions of people and hundreds of companies globally by expanding solar power use.

It is worth noting that many conference rooms were set up due to the epidemic. Multiple spokespersons in the Philippines, Singapore, and China were linked in real-time via the Huawei IdeaHub*.
