The JR-T04S Pro TWS comes in a straightforward design with an upward-opening flap with the familiar-looking square charging case. The earbuds that come with a glossy finish are securely placed vertically inside the charging case. There are not many design details on the charging case except the simple Joyroom branding upfront, a USB-C port for charging at the bottom, and a small LED indicator at the lower front part.

Overall, the JR-T04S Pro TWS feels light and somehow premium in the hands. Its charging case looks sturdy, and it's a plus factor that it has a matte cover, meaning unwanted fingerprint smudges and scratches won't be a problem. The packaging of the JR-T04S Pro TWS even comes with a free rubber cover for its charging case with a carabiner clip for added protection and portability.
On the other hand, the in-ear earbuds feel comfy and light on the ears and don't provide that taxing feeling even when used for long listening hours. Unlike other affordable pairs of TWS earbuds with tell-tale signs of being budget-friendly with sharp edges, the JR-T04s Pro TWS is made with a seamless and smooth build. The pair also has a mesh filter that prevents dirt and earwax from penetrating the earbuds.
PAIRING and AUDIO QUALITY:
As expected and similar to other Joyroom audio devices, pairing the JR-T04S Pro TWS with a smartphone or a laptop through Bluetooth is a walk in the park. All that's needed to be done is to open the case, and the pair will automatically go to pairing mode, making it visible to other Bluetooth-enabled devices. The JR-T04S Pro TWS utilizes the latest Bluetooth 5.0 technology, ensuring strong connection and latency without consuming too much power. True enough, in the weeks that we used the JR-T04S Pro TWS, we didn't encounter any single stutter regarding its Bluetooth connection. The pair also didn't deliver any audio delays when watching movies and series on platforms like Netflix and Youtube.

Audio-wise, the JR-T04S Pro TWS is a decent music buddy, and one doesn't need to be an audiophile or an audio expert to learn this. It's easy on the ears, and it does its job well in delivering punchy bass and balanced mids and highs, thanks to its 3mm speakers with SBC high fidelity audio decoding and hi-fi music function. We especially liked listening to bass-heavy tracks with this pair, and we're sure that bass heads will also appreciate the JR-T04S Pro TWS.

The pair also has DSP noise reduction for filtering external noise in calls, but don't expect too much regarding its noise cancellation capabilities. Although the JR-T04S Pro TWS lacks au auto-stop function that allows wireless earphones to stop audio when one earbud is removed, it supports single and double earphone modes, meaning you can listen to music even with just one of the earbuds in use. Another plus factor about the JR-T04S Pro TWS is its IPX5 waterproof rating making it an ideal audio buddy in workouts.
BATTERY LIFE:
The limited-edition bundle of the JR-T04S Pro TWS comes with a free wireless charger. This TWS supports wireless charging, which is a good feat, especially since it's a relatively affordable audio device. With wireless charging, the JR-T04S Pro TWS can be fully recharged in a little more than two hours, while it takes up to an hour and a half to be refueled via the supplied USB-C cable. Battery life is a strong point for the JR-T04S Pro TWS, as a single charge can last up to two days with moderate usage.
