The Miss World Organization's official Philippine franchise recently signed an exclusive contract with Doill Technologies, one of the country's burgeoning developers of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), which have been hailed as a viable platform for promoting its "Exceptionally Empowered Filipinas" marketing campaign, as well as its charity projects and other relevant advocacies.

The contract signing press conference was held at the Kingsford Hotel on May 25. It was attended by Doill Technologies CEO Angelo Bagas, COO Adrian Resuera, Board of Directors Antonio Magsaysay, Treasurer Lemuel Gatchalian, and Executive Secretary Mike Lugasan, as well as MWPH National Director Arnold Vegafria.

Miss Multinational Philippines 2021 Shaila Mae Rebortera hosted the event, dubbed "Non-Fungible Beauty: One World, One Dream."

"This alliance is a technological milestone," Vegafria said. With the many advancements in blockchain technology in the global market, we have taken a giant step forward by extending the Miss World Philippines brand further out—not just in the worldwide market but also in the digital and cyber markets—where it can engage more consumers and, more importantly, educate them about our existing advocacies, particularly for education and mental health, as well as our Exceptionally Empowered Filipinas campaign."

"At the same time, with our exclusive digital caricatures and artworks created exclusively for Miss World Philippines, we provide pageant fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in our advocacies." These will be their virtual 'tickets' to our elite events, such as the Charity Gala and Coronation Night, as well as the opportunity to take advantage of additional premium benefits. As the first of their kind, we are also confident that these digital artworks will grow in value over time."

"As one of the country's pioneers in the NFT market, we are confident that this alliance with the Miss World Philippines Organization will put a higher premium and market demand for our products, for the simple reason that the brand is globally renowned for its prestigious legacy," Doill Technologies CEO Angelo Bagas said. We are thrilled to be working together and to have all of the ladies on board. But, more importantly, we feel equally empowered to contribute our small part to their wonderful advocacies, which are timely issues facing our kids today."

Holders of MWPH NFTs can benefit from a variety of bonuses and premiums due to the partnership. Fifty (50) lucky NFT holders will be picked at random to win coronation night tickets. A total of sixty (60) NFT holders will be invited to the Charity Gala at random. They will also be able to watch the coronation live-streamed, donate to charitable foundations and advocacies, and win gifts.

The 36 contestants are currently cruising through the various Fast Track Challenges, which will culminate on June 5 at the Mall of Asia Arena with the presence of global pageant luminaries such as Miss World Organization founder and CEO Julia Morley and Miss Eco International founder and CEO Dr. Amaal Rezk.
