Acer today unveiled the Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition gaming laptop, which has glasses-free stereoscopic 3D. At launch, the SpatialLabs TrueGame application will support over 50 popular games, with support for more titles being introduced regularly in the future.

Acer also revealed the Predator Triton 300 SE slim gaming laptop, the Predator XB273K LV and Acer Nitro XV272U RV game displays, and the 3D gaming laptop.

"With the Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition, we're pleased to bring a new dimension to gaming by enabling industry-leading glasses-free stereoscopic 3D gaming," stated Jerry Kao, Co-COO, Acer Inc. "We intend to develop a new category of immersive gaming experiences by combining our SpatialLabs technology with our Predator gaming laptops."

3D Gaming Laptop - Acer Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition

The Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition (PH315-55s) is a powerful gaming laptop that supports stereoscopic 3D gaming without glasses. The SpatialLabs TrueGame application allows gamers to play compatible games in 3D mode on their device, bringing the scene's intricacies to life. Rooms appear larger, items become more layered, and adventures become more exciting—all in real-time and without special glasses.

TrueGame by SpatialLabs is a new program that provides stereoscopic 3D gaming to the masses, allowing gamers to experience their favorite games fully. This is possible because most games are designed with three dimensions in mind, with creators including depth information in each scene and item they make. To present the games in stereoscopic 3D, SpatialLabs uses this already-existing data. To provide players with a seamless experience with their favorite games, each of the 50+ modern and classic titles will have a dedicated pre-configured profile available at launch, and profiles for additional titles will be updated regularly moving forward.
