When the main lid is raised, the ROG ScreenPad Plus rises, settling in at a 13-degree angle for optimal ergonomics and airflow. The engineering team created and patented a novel four-directional hinge that allows the ROG ScreenPad Plus to move back while simultaneously elevating. The two screens sit flush with each other at maximum height, delivering an almost bezel-free viewing experience for unrivaled immersion. ROG's AAS Plus 2.0 system utilizes the 28.5 mm of empty space between the screen and chassis to allow 30% more fresh air intake than standard gaming laptop designs.

The main display on the Zephyrus Duo 16 has been improved to a 16:10 aspect ratio, allowing for additional real estate and an astonishing 91 percent screen-to-body ratio thanks to ultraslim bezels and a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio. This QHD, 16:10, 165 Hz Nebula HDR panel comprises tiny LEDs that can reach 1100 nits of peak brightness. Nebula HDR is VESA DisplayHDRTM 1000 certified, with 512 dimming zones for an HDR experience that is absolutely out of this world. Nebula HDR uses very fine backlights for local dimming, which provides remarkable contrast, and is powered by AUO's AmLED technology and ROG's Nebula HDR Engine. This software mix of adaptive image processing, adaptive dimming, and backlight boosting produces extremely realistic imagery with minimum haloing.
Up to AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX processors and an NVIDIA® GeForce RTXTM 3080 Ti Laptop GPU with 165W Max TGP and MUX Switch give more than enough power to keep the latest AAA games running at high frame rates. Not content with that, ROG also included up to 64 GB of 4800 MHz DDR5 memory, as well as up to 4 TB of PCIe® Gen 4x4 storage in a RAID 0 array.

The ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 is equipped with Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal, which is new for 2022. The Zephyrus Duo 16 runs 15° C cooler thanks to this incredible substance, which has 17 times the heat conductivity of ordinary thermal pastes. Lower temperatures allow the CPU and GPU to turbo higher for extended periods, allowing this powerful system to deliver even greater performance.
