It's a Copilot+ PC

The Vivobook S14 is among the brand's offerings equipped with Copilot. With this, a plethora of AI features, mainly programmed for boosted productivity, are present on the laptop. These can be easily accessed through a dedicated Copilot button on the keyboard.

Tapping the Copilot button will trigger its specific window where users can enter various commands. Since it's an AI assistant, Copilot can help users in different tasks. It can write a song, create an essay, suggest itineraries, list possible agendas for a workshop, and a lot more. 

It comes with ASUS' own AI features

Complementing the Copilot+ PC functions, ASUS planted built-in AI features on the Vivobook S 14, mainly for boosted user convenience. These include StoryCube, which maximizes AI for efficient sorting and categorizing of files, photos, videos, and audio.

StoryCube automatically groups photos according to the people in it or based on the scenes. The software also allows users to easily tag files for quicker access. Plus, it comes with a native file compression function, eliminating the need for a third-party tool.

The Vivobook S 14 also comes with the ASUS AI Noise Cancelation, providing reduced background noise and clearer audio, even without using noise-canceling earphones. Available via the MyASUS app which is easily accessible via the F12 key, the ASUS AI Noise Cancelation function offers automatic, optimized audio settings for single presenter conference calls and multi-presenter conference calls.

In a single presenter conference call, users can activate the Target Speaker Tracking mode to ensure that only the voice in front of the laptop can be heard during meetings. Meanwhile, the Vivobook S 14 is also capable of filtering out ambient noise and identifying multiple voices from all directions and distances simultaneously in a multi-presenter conference setup.

There's also the ASUS AiSense camera feature that brings user-tailored filters for better visuals during online meetings. It comes with background blur, eye contact correction, automatic framing, and ASUS 3DNR.

Through eye contact correction, the Vivobook S 14 is capable of automatically detecting the user's eye movements and adjusting the gaze to make it appear like they're always looking directly at the camera. 

Automatic framing, meanwhile, functions like the camera is following every movement of the users to ensure that they don't go out of the frame. 

With the ASUS 3D Noise Reduction (3DNR) technology, the Vivobook S 14 delivers sharper and clearer webcam images, reducing facial blur during conference calls.

It operates with a dedicated AI chip

Underneath the Vivobook S 14 is the latest Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2. Launched late last year in much-awaited fanfare, the Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2 highlights AI acceleration, supported by an increased core count of up to 20 cores and higher clock speeds of up to 5.5 GHz.

According to ASUS, the Vivobook S 14 with the Intel Core Ultra 7 processor (Series 2) is 27% faster than the Vivobook S 14 with the previous Intel Core Ultra 7 processor (Series 1).

In the visuals department, the Vivobook S 14 utilizes the Intel Arc with a boosted GPU performance versus its predecessor, delivering more immersive visuals and faster graphics latency. It also operates with the Xe Super Sampling (XeSS), which harnesses artificial intelligence for an upscaled gaming experience.

AI also supervises the Vivobook S 14's battery life, thanks to the Intel AI Boost (NPU). This supports the laptop's big battery capacity at 75 Wh, offering up to 27 hours of usage on a single USB-C Easy Charge.

For a more conscious battery usage on the Vivobook S 14, ASUS integrated a MyASUS Battery Health Management software which adjusts according to user's charging behavior for better battery care.

It's a multimedia master

On the Vivobook S 14 is a 14-inch screen in a 1920 x 1080 OLED glory. It carries the exclusive ASUS Lumina OLED display which exudes stunning visuals brought by industry-standard Pantone-validated colors and VESA DisplayHDR True Black certification. This means that the laptop comes with accurately bright colors and deep blacks.

The ASUS Vivobook S 14 can be laid flat for a versatile viewing angle.

Other features available on the ASUS Lumina OLED screen include ASUS Splendid, which allows color customization and ASUS Tru2Life which sharpens video playback. Plus, protection functions are also included, specifically Eye Care, OLED Care, and Panel Protection.

It has an RGB-lit keyboard

Apart from the display, a visual focal point on the Vivobook S 14 is its ASUS ErgoSense RGB backlit keyboard with customizable light and effects. Users can choose between solid color mode with a steady light, breathing mode with slow blinking lights, and rainbow mode with changing lights.

More than the aesthetics, the ASUS ErgoSense is also designed for a comfortable typing experience. ASUS thoughtfully considered the distance between keys at 19.05 mm, dished key caps at 0.2mm, and key travel at 1.7mm.
