Ditching the popular realme yellow box, the realme GT 7T exudes a premium look right off the bat with its black package engraved with iridescent markings. Once the box is opened, you'll be greeted with a sleeve that tells you to "Make it real."

What's inside the box are the usual finds. Apart from the smartphone itself, the realme GT 7T package comes with a SUPERVOOC power adapter, USB-A to USB-C cable, black matte silicone case, SIM ejector tool, quick guide, and safety guide.

The IceSense Black variant that we received comes clad in a black matte, smudge-resistant rear cover with tiny, glittery speckles. This rear design on the realme GT 7T is among its unique selling points as it's incorporated with Graphene. According to realme, this is an industry first.

Apart from the added aesthetic touch, it's a functional design as it assists in heat dissipation, keeping the device cool even when used in demanding tasks like gaming. While we weren't able to measure the temperature of the device while using it, realme claims that with the realme GT 7T's IceSense Black Graphene design, it's 6℃ cooler than its predecessor, the realme GT 6.

For protection, the realme GT 7T carries an ArmorShell Protection which uses an airbag structure to withstand drops of up to 1.5 meters. This is extended to the device's display, coated with ArmorShell Glass for added strength. The realme GT 7T is also an all-around waterproof smartphone, rated with IP69 which is the highest level of water and dust coverage.
With rounded corners and flat edges, the realme GT 7T has a unibody look that's easy on the eyes. While most of the smartphone is black, there are nice bronze accents on the power button and the camera outline.

At 202 grams, the realme GT 7T has a noticeable weight to it which might be because of its huge battery. Still, it's light enough for a fatigue-free full-day use.

Its 120Hz refresh rate further amplifies its gaming performance, while its HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support makes it an immersive screen for binge-watching high-definition content.

Out of the box, the realme GT 7T comes with a pre-installed thin screen film, which users can always easily replace with a better screen protector. Or not, since the device has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection that promises enhanced drop and scratch resistance.
PERFORMANCE:
At the heart of the realme GT 7T is a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Max, a 4nm octa-core processor designed for smooth multitasking and handling demanding applications with ease. True enough, throughout the days that we spent with the realme GT 7T, we never experienced any stutter – even once. Everything was a breeze.
Supporting its chipset, the realme GT 7T has a combination of 24GB RAM (12GB native + 12GB RAM expansion) and 256GB/512GB onboard storage. Note that the device doesn't have a microSD card slot, so storage expansion isn't possible.

Casual, non-gamer users will find the realme GT 7T as a trusty daily driver. Its Android 15 operating system topped with a realme UI 6.0 brings a plethora of customization and convenience features, allowing an overall smart usage.
For instance, there's a floating sidebar which intelligently suggests smart actions according to the application you're using. Say, you have your GMail app opened, the sidebar provides easy access to AI Summary, AI Speak, and AI Writer. While using YouTube, you can toggle the sidebar to quickly tap on Air Scroll, another smart sensing action that allows phone scrolling even without your fingers touching the screen.

Gaming-wise, the realme GT 7T is a beast. Users don't need to hold back on high gaming settings for smooth gameplays. Even with the highest graphics settings, the realme GT 7T delivers gracefully.
According to realme, it improved the GT Boost on the realme GT 7T so that the phone will consume 21% less power while gaming. Activating the GT Boost will enable the device's AI Gaming Coach feature, which provides useful gaming information through AI generated voice notifications or on-screen floating texts.

AI is also heavily found on the camera system of the realme GT 7T. The device is marketed to explorers, with its AI Travel Camera features, including a set of travel filters. These take inspiration from high-end cameras Fujifilm C200, Kodak UltraMax 400, and the Leica Q Series.
There's also the AI Landscape feature which intelligently enhances images even in various weather conditions and against the light. Plus, the AI Snap Mode on the realme GT 7T is capable of capturing more than 50 photos per second, allowing best shots for subjects in motion.
These features and more complement the realme GT 7T's 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 OIS main rear camera with a 1.56" sensor size and f/1.8 aperture, designed to record videos at up to 8K quality.
Upfront, the realme GT 7T carries a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 front camera with a 2.74" sensor and f/2.4 aperture. While selfie cameras are often an afterthought for other smartphones, the realme GT 7T has a high-performing front shooter capable of 4K quality video recording.
