HONOR has mastered this formula with its X series. The latest addition, the HONOR X6c, takes it a step further by introducing AI features, bringing what was once exclusive to flagship devices into the hands of budget-conscious users. Here's what it has to offer.
DESIGN and BUILD:
The HONOR X6c sports a straightforward look with a clean rear panel highlighted only by the HONOR branding and a square camera module accented in copper.
For a sleek and understated option, there’s Midnight Black. If you’d rather stand out, the HONOR X6c also comes in the stylish Ocean Cyan and Moonlight White finishes.

Bottom ports and hardware |
On top, the HONOR X6c houses the SIM card tray and a secondary microphone. At the bottom, you’ll find a single speaker grille, USB-C port, primary microphone, and the increasingly rare 3.5mm headphone jack. You can use two nano SIM cards on the HONOR X6c, but this comes at the cost of forgoing a microSD card for extra storage.
Weighing 199 grams, the HONOR X6c feels substantial in hand but not to the extent of causing grip fatigue. The only drawback is its back panel, which easily attracts smudges and fingerprints. Fortunately, HONOR includes a transparent silicone case in the box to address this.
Its other package contents include an HONOR SuperCharge brick charger, USB-A to USB-C charging wire, a SIM ejector tool, and the usual paperwork.

DISPLAY:
The HONOR X6c’s display gives away its budget positioning, featuring a 6.61-inch TFT LCD at 1604 × 720 resolution with thick bezels, especially at the chin. That said, the smooth 120Hz refresh rate is a pleasant surprise for an entry-level device.

While the screen quality isn’t the best we’ve seen, the HONOR X6c offers a decent display that’s more than adequate for everyday use. Even under bright sunlight, visibility remains manageable. Plus, eye comfort features on the HONOR X6c’s screen make it easier to use for longer periods without causing fatigue.

PERFORMANCE:
With its MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra, the HONOR X6c runs daily activities—scrolling through social media, chatting, or streaming videos—smoothly. Gaming, however, is where the performance starts to show its limits. Games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Call of Duty Mobile, and Honor of Kings are playable, though minor lags can be noticed at times.

A key highlight is the AI Mobile Assistant panel, accessible via a dedicated AI button, which offers quick access to frequently used apps and functions. It’s a practical example of AI integration in an entry-level device.

There's generous storage and memory on the HONOR X6c, too, particularly an extended 16GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.
BATTERY:
The HONOR X6c is powered by a 5,300mAh battery, which in our experience lasts up to a day and a half on moderate use. Charging is also impressive for an entry-level phone, with the included 35W charger restoring the battery to full in just about an hour and 15 minutes.
