Desktop-Class Performance with A19 Chip
The iPhone 17e is powered by the A19 chip, the same generation of silicon found in the standard iPhone 17. Built on an advanced 3-nanometer architecture, this chip features a 6-core CPU and a 4-core GPU. This setup ensures that the device can easily handle demanding tasks, from AAA gaming to high-resolution video editing.
Crucially, the A19 chip enables the full suite of Apple Intelligence features. This includes advanced AI tools like Live Translation in Messages and FaceTime, Visual Intelligence for real-world object recognition, and smarter system-wide writing tools.
Upgraded Display and Enhanced Durability
The device features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display that reaches a peak HDR brightness of 1,200 nits. While it maintains the classic notch design, the front glass has been upgraded to Ceramic Shield 2.
