What makes a laptop a good buy goes beyond its price tag. It’s about how well it meets the needs of its intended users. For the ASUS Vivobook S16, the appeal is obvious: a bigger screen for those who want more room to work, create, or unwind. But look beyond its size, and you’ll find more features that make it worth considering if you’re due for a laptop upgrade. Here are five reasons why.

Its massive screen, obviously
The ASUS Vivobook S16 is built for multitaskers, with its 16-inch screen offering ample space to work across multiple windows at once. Whether you're managing spreadsheets or editing videos, the larger display lets you see more of what you're working on and do more without needing an external monitor. Its 16:10 aspect ratio also provides more vertical screen space than a standard 16:9 Full HD display, allowing you to view more spreadsheet rows, document text, and webpage content at a glance.

It's also a good companion for binge-watchers, as its large display makes movies and series more enjoyable to watch. The WUXGA (1920 × 1200) resolution delivers clear visuals for everyday streaming, while the 144Hz refresh rate makes supported motion appear smoother.
Big, but not bulky
One of the ASUS Vivobook S16's standout features is its all-metal build, which gives it a premium look and feel. With a 16-inch display, you'd expect it to be on the heavier side, but that's not the case. At just 1.54 cm thin and 1.5 kg, the Vivobook S16 is surprisingly slim and lightweight for its size. It's a laptop you can comfortably bring from home to the office or your favorite coffee shop, showing that a large display and a premium build don't have to come at the expense of portability.

Power anywhere you go
Despite its slim and lightweight design, the ASUS Vivobook S16 packs a battery that can last up to 20 hours on a single charge. That's enough to get through a full day of classes, meetings, or work sessions without constantly looking for a power outlet. For students and professionals who are always on the move, it makes for a dependable daily driver that can keep up with a busy schedule.
Bye, dongle
The ASUS Vivobook S16 puts an end to one of the common hassles of using slim and lightweight laptops: constantly reaching for a dongle. With a comprehensive selection of ports, it lets you connect your peripherals and accessories directly, making plug-and-play convenience part of the experience.
