CloudFone, Intel and Globe Telecom, three of technology giants in the country joined forces together to bring a powerful tablet within reach of every Filipinos.
The partnership unveiled the CloudFone Epic 7.0, the first locally Intel-powered tablet exclusively available for FREE at Globe mySUPERPLAN 499. The plan comes bundled with a CloudFone Excite 400dx Android smartphone and a Bluetooth keyboard for the Epic 7.0 plus. In addition, this postpaid plan gives call and texts to all networks, 100MB of data, free access to apps such as Gmail, Yahoo and Evernote plus 10GB of Globe Cloud storage.

The CloudFone Epic 7.0 sports 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with WSVGA (1024x600) resolution. Under the hood is a 1.2GHz dual core Intel Z2520 processor that comes with a PowerVR SGX544MP2 GPU and bundled with 1GB of RAM. The internal storage is set at 8GB with micro SD slot for expansion up to 32GB.
At the back of the tablet is a 2MP main camera and a VGA secondary camera mounted in the front. The connectivity sets include WiFi, Bluetooth and USB OTG supports. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
