| ASUS ZenFone Max Lands in the Philippines for Php8,485, 5000mAh Battery in Tow |
Along with the ASUS ZenFone Zoom, ASUS Philippines also unveiled the ASUS ZenFone Max in the recently concluded event held in Cebu city.
The ASUS ZenFone Max (ZC550KL) is technically an ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser (ZE550KL) with a higher battery capacity, which is 5,000mAh as compared to the latter's 3,000mAh. According to ASUS, this incredibly huge capacity gives users a long-lasting 3G talk time of up 37.6 days or 32.5 hours of web browsing over WiFi or more than 22 hours of video playback.

Other than the battery, aesthetics, physical dimensions and of course, weight, the rest of the specs of the two devices are practically the same - 5.5-inch HD display, dual SIM capability with LTE connectivity, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of on board storage, Android Lollipop operating system, 5MP front camera and 13MP rear camera with laser auto focus technology.
The ZenFone Max is now available in all ASUS concept stores and authorized re-sellers nationwide for Php8,495 or about 500 pesos price difference with the ZenFone Laser's current SRP of Php7,995.
