Aside from the Touch XL 2, another smartphone from Cherry Mobile that has the same suffix has surfaced online, this time from the very popular Flare series,the Cherry Mobile Flare XL 2.
The Cherry Mobile Flare XL 2 sports a huge 6-inch display, a 0.5-inch bigger than its predecessor. As far as I can recall, it is the second device from the series to have that kind of screen size next to the Flare Mate.
On the inside, a 1.3GHz octa core processor paired with 2GB of RAM is in charge of the computing capability of this dual SIM Android Marshmallow mobile phone. The chipset is unknown as of this point, but since it has LTE connectivity, we believed it is a MediaTek MT6753 variant. Storage wise, it has 16GB built-in, which can be expanded further using a micro SD card up to 32GB plus more using external media, such as flash drives through its OTG-ready USB port.
Other specifications written on the flyer are 16MP main camera with LED flash and an 8MP front facing one for taking selfie. Also, based on the image above, it still uses hardware capacitive back, home and menu keys. It will retail for Php5,999 when it hit the stores, a 1000-peso more expensive than its 5-inch Flare 4 and S4 cousins.
