| Lazada Philippines Welcomes The SM Store On Board |
During its 4th anniversary celebration, Lazada Philippines announced that it has reached a partnership agreement with The SM Store, the country's largest department store operated by the SM Group led by billionaire Henry Sy.
According to Bloomberg, Teresita T. Sy-Coson, the Vice Chairperson of SM Investments Corporation, said that SM will initially use Lazada's online platform in selling non-food and non-bulky items such as clothes and toys to name a few. Once the strategic partnership is deemed to be effective and successful, it will open doors for more SM products, including those bigger items like appliances and home furnishings.

Apart from this, Lazada is also happy to share the news that it has gotten bigger in 2016 with new office, new facility for their fulfillment center and the expansion of its own logistic services, the Lazada Express or LEX.
