|Cherry Mobile Flare Infinity Now Official; 5.5-inch Edge-To-Edge Display, Helio P10, 4GB RAM for Php12,999|
Late last month, a certain CM brochure leaked online bearing lots of upcoming smartphones for the local brand, mostly under the Flare Premium series. Earlier tonight at the grand event held at City of Dreams, most of those devices were showcased and became finally official, one of which is their flagship offering - the Cherry Mobile Flare Infinity.
The Cherry Mobile Flare Infinity boasts an edge-to-edge or so-called border-less display that measures 5.5-inch diagonally and has Full HD resolution. If I am not mistaken, it is the first handset from a local brand to offer such kind of screen. Under the hood is MediaTek MT6755 chipset or commonly know as Helio P10, which has an octa core processor clocked at 2.0GHz each combined with Mali-T860MP2 graphics processing unit. The RAM and ROM are set to 4GB and 32GB respectively, the same numbers found on the Cherry Mobile M1.
In terms of photography capability, it got a 16MP camera module on its back with BSI technology and equipped with phase-detection auto focus, while the one in the front offers 5MP resolution for taking selfies. The other notable specs are LTE connectivity, fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C port and runs on Android Marshmallow.
It will be available soon for a retail price tag of Php12,999.
