|Gionee M5 Mini Silently Arrives in PH for Php5,999; Boasts 4000mAh Battery|
CellPrime, the company that resurrects Gionee in the Philippines (the same firm behind the CloudFone brand), has silently released in the local market one of the recent devices from the Chinese maker, the Gionee M5 Mini.
The Gionee M5 Mini is an entry level offering that boasts a significant 4000mAh battery, a capacity that is twice as much than most juice found on other phones, such as the Apple iPhone 7 that has 1960mAh. By the way, the battery is removable and it is quite big.
Apart from having a huge power source, this dual SIM device offers modest specs, such as 5-inch IPS liquid crystal display with HD resolution, quad core Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.3GHz each, dual core Mali-400 graphics chip, 2GB of volatile RAM and 8GB of expandable storage (dedicated slot).
Meanwhile, the camera department employs an 8MP primary shooter with LED flash, and a 5MP snapper for taking selfies. Other details include, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB with On-The-Go function, and Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Amigo 3.1 on top.
The price is pegged at Php5,999, and surprisingly, several stores that we asked said that it is already out of stock.
