| Sony Xperia XZ Premium Launches in PH for Php45,490; 960fps Slow Motion, SD835, 4GB RAM |
Sony's latest flagship device, which was awarded as the "Best New Smartphone or Connected Device" during the MWC2017, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, is officially launched in the Philippines.
The Sony Xperia XZ Premium sports 5.46-inch HDR10-compliant Triluminos display with 4K resolution, that's 3840x2160 pixels that translates to 807 PPI, X-Relaity Engine, and topped with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for added protection. Like most high-end competitors, it is also IP68-certified, which simply means it is dust and water proof resistant.

On the inside, it is powered by the most powerful Qualcomm chip to date, the Snapdragon 835, which comes with octa core Kryo processor and Adreno 540 as the GPU. It also comes with 4GB of RAM for smooth multitasking, and 64GB of expandable storage.
Meanwhile, the photography department employs the same cameras found on the Xperia XZs. The main one at the back is equipped with 19MP f/2.0 camera with EIS, predictive phase detection laser auto focus, and capable of recording 2160p videos and a super slow motion videos at a whopping 960 frames per seconds.
Other notable specs are 3230mAh fast charging battery, dual SIM with LTE connectivity, fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button, and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat.
It will be available on June 30, but consumers can pre-order it starting June 1 until June 18 to get a free Sony Wireless Bluetooth speaker (SRS-XB20) worth Php4,999.
