| Doogee BL5000 Coming to PH; Octa Core, 4GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras, 5050mAh Battery |
Doogee became a popular smartphone brand in the Philippines when they unveiled the Doogee Mix, which is a pretty interesting device given its specs and asking price. After about a month since they debuted in the local market, another handset is expected to arrive very soon, the Doogee BL5000.
The Doogee BL5000 is equally interesting as the Mix, it may not have a bezel-less display, but it packs great hardware and features. It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD screen with 650nit of brightness for sharp and vivid display, topped with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for added protection. Underneath its 3D polished metallic body is a 1.5GHz 64-bit octa core MediaTek MT6750T processor, the same chipset found in the OPPO F3. In terms of multitasking, expect a smooth transition between apps with its 4GB of RAM. Meanwhile, there is only one native storage option to choose from, and that is 64GB.
Like the Doogee Mix, the BL5000 is equipped with dual rear cameras, but this time around, they chose to use two 13MP modules instead of 16MP+8MP sensors. On the other hand, the front snapper uses an 8-megapixel camera with softlight flash, which is an upgrade from 5MP of the Mix. Of course, we cannot tell the actual performance yet, but hopefully they will perform as good as they sound on paper.

Aside from nice aesthetics and dual cameras, the BL5000 other main selling point is its huge battery, 5050mAh to be exact, which, according to Doogee can last up to 10 hours of continuous game play or around 15 hours of watching movies.
No mention yet about its price and availability, but according to an insider, they are already securing NTC permit. We will update this post once more info is available.
