| Vivo Y69 Now in Stores for Php10,990; Octa Core Android Nougat 16MP Selfie Camera |
The Vivo Y69 has been out in the Indian market less that a week ago, and now it reached the local shore boasting specs that are even higher than the Vivo V5 Lite. It sports a 5.5-inch liquid crystal display with IPS technology and 720p resolution, which translates to about 267 pixels per inch. On the inside, it is powered by 1.5GHz 64-bit octa ocre MediaTek MT6750 paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage.
Camera wise, it has the same system as the V5 Lite, a 13-megapixel with f/2.2 apertures sits on its back, while a 16-megapixel with an f-stop of f/2.0 is assigned to take those perfect selfies. Other specifications are mostly similar, if not the same, such as the 3000mAh battery, micro USB with on-the-go function, and dual SIM functionality with 4G/LTE connectivity.

The main differentiators of the Vivo Y69 over the V5 Lite are operating system and security feature. The former now comes with Android 7.0 Nougat with Funtouch OS3.2 out of the box, and a responsive fingerprint sensor is mounted in the front.
The Vivo Y69 Price in the Philippines is Php10,990, which is exactly the current selling price of the slightly ageing, but still capable Vivo V5. This makes us wonder where exactly it is in the food chain. Will Vivo stop selling the V5 to make way for the Y69, and avoid cannibalizing their own, or they will just let it go, and let the consumers decide?
