Samsung recently announced its latest additions to its premium mid-range smartphone line – the A series. On that note, the Korean tech giant said that the Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) will be officially launched in the Philippines tomorrow, January 18. However, the two devices are already spotted in Samsung Store at SM Megamall - Cyberzone.

The two 2018 models are the first A-devices to sport the brand’s Infinity Displays. The A8 (2018) flaunts a smaller 5.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen, while the plus variant has a bigger 6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED screen.
Under the hood, the two smartphones share the same 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. However, the brand packs the regular variant with 4GB of RAM, while the plus version is available up to 6GB of RAM. On the other hand, both smartphones are offered up to 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

This year’s A8 line will be the first Samsung phones to boast dual front cameras, as well. Having the same camera setup, both models have 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel front shooters, and 16-megapixel rear camera.

The smaller model is packed with 3000mAh battery, while the plus variant has a bigger 3500mAh stamina.
The Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8+ (2018) are priced at Php26,990 and Php32,990, respectively.
