Lenovo Philippines has launched its 8th-generation Lenovo ThinkPads and ThinkStations, eyeing to provide enhanced agility and performance to boost workspace.

During the launch, the company has unveiled five new ThinkPads – the ThinkPad L380, X280, E480, T480, and T480S.

“With most of today’s workforce being on-the-go, it is now time for traditional workspaces to evolve in order to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity. Together with Intel, our newest ThinkPads meet mobility demands while at the same time providing enterprise-grade reliability and security, thereby making offices who utilize them more than ready to face any challenges that future business enviroments hold,” Lenovo Philippines Country General Manager Michael Ngan.

The new ThinkPads pack new features, including match-on-sensor touch fingerprint readers, IR cameras for facial recognition access, and physical webcam covers for privacy. Moreover, the Intel Core vPro feature of the 8th Gen processors also provides remote encryption management. This enables users to unlock encrypted hard drives and reset encryption passwords while on the go.

Lenovo also unveiled two new ThinkStation – the P520 and P520C. Both are equipped with the latest Intel Xeon processors and NVIDIA Quadro graphics.
