SKK Mobile Chrome Spotted: Quad-Core with 8GB ROM

While doing the gadget hunt, I spotted the SKK Mobile Chrome in a brochure and signage. The Chrome is currently the cheapest quad-core offering from SKK Mobile, priced at only PHP 7999 (since both the SKK Silver and SKK Platinum have an SRP of PHP 9999). It is a dual SIM dual standby phone with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.

The latest released boast a 5.0 inch screen of unknown resolution, 8MP main camera plus 2MP front camera and will run Android 4.2.1 out of the box. It will have an 8GB of ROM which is pretty rare for local competition. The usual sets of connectivity namely Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth and GPS are all present.

One thing I like about SKK is the freebies, and the Chrome will have a free phone case for every purchase.  The release date is yet to be determined.
