BS Mobile Venus Tab: Dual Core Andoid Jelly Bean for only PHP2999

When I was doing my usual rounds of gadget hunting, I found BS Mobile. According the sales lady, the company has been around for about eight months and one of the new comers in the Philippine mobile industry.

When I checked their portfolio, one really caught my attention - the Venus Tab, a 7-inch Dual Core Android Jelly Bean Table for only 2999 pesos.

The tablet boast a 1GHz Dual Core CPU of unknown chipset, 8GB of ROM which is further expandable of up to 32GB via micro SD card and 512MB of RAM. The screen resolution is only WVGA but I guess this is necessary to cut down the price. It will also have a built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and will have both front and back camera.

• 7" capacitive WVGA (800x480)
• Android Jelly Bean 4.1
• 1GHz Dual Core CPU
• 512MB of RAM
• 8GB of internal storage, expandable up to 32GB via micro SD
• Front and Back Camera
• WiFi Connectivity

The complete specs are still a puzzle for now, but it can be a great competitor on SKK Skypad Sketch and Cherry Mobile Fusion Air which have similar price tag but only runs on a single core CPU.
