| SKK Mobile Memo 2 |
The Memo 2 is the latest tablet from SKK Mobile, the name sounds familiar but it is not the sequel of the Arc Mobile Memo, they are totally different products from totally different companies. The SKK Mobile Memo 2 is not just a pure tablet, it also has phone functionality that has dual SIM dual standby capability.
The new SKK tablet boast an 8-inch HD IPS display (not sure about the exact resolution), a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (chipset is yet to be confirmed), 8GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 32GB via micro SD slot and 1GB of RAM for smooth multitasking.
There are also dual camera, an 8MP shooter on the back and VGA in the front. The connectivity is pretty well covered, it supports 3G, has WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and Mobile TV. Design wise, it looks something similar with the Apple iPad mini.
Aside from this great tablet, they have also recently release the SKK Mobile Platinum and this coming Sunday September 15, 2013 they will have a one day event at Robinson's Place Manila. The Platinum boast an updated quad core MediaTek chipset clocked at 1.5GHz and you can get it for Php7,999 during that event.

In fairness ah. They're getting better and better :) I won't be surprised if one day, SKK naman ang aagaw ng pansin ng consumers (*whispers* basta ba mababa lagi presyo pero solid ang quality palagi hehe :D )

I currently have SKK Mobile Platinum, still thinking what unit I will get after that. Tinitimbang ko din kasi yung interest the tao sa mga units na gusto ko i-review. Sayang naman kasi kung gagawa me ng review tapos wala naman babasa.

sir Anjie, what other specs do you have with the arc mobile memo 2. I am more inclined to know its battery, a bigger screen and a phone with tv functions surely eats up a lot of juice. at least its what i have noticed with some local phone brands.TIA!

ReplyDeletecute nito...ganda ng reso...ang bilis ng response kahit ilang windows and apps open...sulit na sulit..i got mine in sm bacoor...i think 2 weeks ago na...battery response ok naman...as usual kapag data den gagamitin mo tv...expected na madali madrain..pero overall ok xa...un lang wala case avilable..but my hubbiy and 1 found a leather case na swak sa knya ung pang ipad mini n kada corner ung kapit nya...superb for me..

ReplyDeleteParang sa ipad mini din, inaalis yung nasa ibabaw na takip. Sim 1 is yung normal sim card lang, Sim 2 is Micro Sim :)
ReplyDeleteKAhit sa SKK na stalls, hindi din nila alam yung battery capacity, hehehe wala kasing nakalagay sa box, once every other day ko kung i charge tong sakin eh
