Cherry Mobile Spectrum versus MyPhone Agua Rio

We all know that this will happen soon, Cherry Mobile released the Spectrum to extinguished the hype made by the MyPhone Agua Rio. The question now is, which one has the upper hand?

As you can see on the above comparison table, it is really a close fight. The main difference between the two is the chipset used - Broadcom BCM23550 versus MediaTek MT6582M. The former is the same SoC used in Cherry Mobile Sonic 2.0 and Starmobile Navi.

The advantage of the Spectrum is having a DragonTrail Glass protection while the Rio has slightly higher clock speed. Based on experience, device that uses BCM23550 scored around 14K in Antutu benchmark while those that uses MT6582M scored about 17K.

As of this point, it is quite hard to tell who is the clear winner. I will buy both of them soon and share my experience after review.
