Cherry Mobile Festival 2014 lineup brings another quad-core smartphone named Urban, this time it runs on the latest iteration of Android - KitKat 4.4.

It would be the first device local brand to run on KitKat out of the box, unless their competitor would release sooner. If you could recall, Cherry Mobile bragged that that the octa core Cosmos Z2 would run on Android 4.4 by March, however up to this point it is still on Jelly Bean.

The Urban processor is clocked at 1.3GHz each which we believed is the MediaTek MT6582M, has 4GB of ROM and 1GB of RAM. There is also an 8MP auto focus main camera at the back and 2MP in the front. The basic connectivity set is duly covered, dual SIM with HSPA+, WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth.
