Like what Cherry Angel said on their Facebook page, the Cherry Mobile Flare S3 will be available this weekend and as expected, it arrived on time.

The Flare S3 has an SRP of Php3,999 which is identical to that of the Cherry Mobile Flare 3. It sports a 5-inch IPS qHD display powered by 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek MT6582 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. It has 8GB of ROM and micro SD slot for storage expansion.

Retail package

The retail package consists of the unit, battery, charger, USB cable, wired headset, warranty card and user manual.

Front and back

The Flare S3 is a typical bar phone, the back is a little more interesting with stitched leather-like cover similar to that of the Fusion Aura. Here you can find the 13MP BSI main camera accompanied by an LED flash.

The device has one item on each side, volume rocker on the left, micro USB port at the bottom, power button at the right and 3.5mm audio on top. Going back to the micro USB port, it does NOT have OTG capability. Other specs include 5MP front camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, 1800mAh battery and dual SIM slots with 3G.

    usually po is sa SIM one, not sure lang kung un ba ung micro SIM or regular SIM. Pero lately kasi halos dual 3G na ang mga lumalabas, wherein both SIM ay may 3G.

    Mga sir ung binili ko na flare s3 nag ka prob na agad yung lcd nya after nung pag charge ko.di naman na drop or naipit at di overcharged..nag kakaguhit yung lcg at blured..pero pag ginagamit na unti unti naman bumabalik sa normal..pag lock at e unlock balik ulit sa sirang LCD..my same experience po ba kayu with this item?help me with this please.
