ZH&K Mobile Odyssey Unboxing and Quick Review

ZH&K Mobile is one of the local brands that has been in the mobile market since 2011, but only formally introduced themselves to the buying public and media people November of last year. Unlike most of the competitors, they are very conservative in terms of product releases and the latest among them is the Odyssey.

The ZH&K Mobile Odyssey is an upper-entry level offering, it sports a 4.5-inch display with qHD resolution, giving it an acceptable 245 pixels per inch. There is no mention whether it has an IPS screen or not, but one thing is certain, the viewing angles are great and the color reproduction is above average.

On the inside, it is powered by a MediaTek MT6582 processor with four CPU cores clocked at 1.3GHz each coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of ROM. The storage is expandable and based on actual experience, using 32GB of micro SD card is OK.

The GPS is also working properly and got a satellite lock in less than 30 seconds. Meanwhile the benchmark results are as follows:

The main camera features an auto focus 5MP resolution accompanied by an LED flash while the camera in the front has 2MP sensor. The image quality is surprisingly good, the resolve details are ample enough and the color reproduction is quite accurate.

Taking everything into account, we can say that the ZH&K Mobile Odyssey's overall performance is good enough for day to day activities. That being said, it can get the job done, as long as you do not push it too hard, especially that it only has 512MB of RAM.
