| Cherry Mobile Flare S4 Plus Now Official |
Recently, Cherry Mobile, the leading smartphone brand in the Philippines, launched the latest addition to its Flare series comprise of three devices, once of which is the cream of the crop, the Cherry Mobile S4 Plus.
We first learned about the Cherry Mobile S4 Plus way back March of this year, and after about more than six months, it finally became official. Although, there are lots of differences from the rumor specs, those changes are for the better. It packs a 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution, giving it a pixel density of 401 PPI. In addition, it has IPS and OGS technologies for sharper images and wider viewing angles.
Powering the device from the inside is a 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 processor with 8 Cortex-A53 CPU cores clocked at 1.3GHz each and Mali-T720 as the graphics processing unit. This system-on-chip might have a lower frequency than the MT6752 running on the Cherry Mobile Flare X, but according to Cherry Mobile executive, it has a better software support, which means that the Flare S4 Plus might receive major OS updates in the future. To compliment the powerful chipset, there is a 3GB of RAM to handle multiple applications at the same. There is also 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 64GB via micro SD card, giving you a lot of room for apps, games and personal files.
This dual SIM Flare series front runner sports a 16MP main camera and 8MP front shooter, both of which have BSI technology for clearer and more vivid images. In terms of connectivity, it has LTE for faster mobile data connection, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It has 2800mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. All these amazing specs housed in a metal-clad body and retails for a very reasonable price tag of 7,999 pesos.
