| Lenovo VIBE K5 Plus Now in the Philippines For Php8,999; Comes with FREE VR Headset and TheaterMax Controller |
Along with the VIBE K5, Lenovo Mobile Philippines also unveiled another member of its family, the VIBE K5 Plus.
The Lenovo VIBE K5 Plus, as the name implies, offers something better than its siblings. For one, the screen, though the size is still 5-inch, has a Full HD resolution, giving it a pixel density of 441 PPI as compared to the 294 PPI of the VIBE K5, making the images it produces more crisp and vibrant.
Another difference is the Qualcomm chipset used, the Plus uses Snapdragon 616 while the K5 uses Snapdragon 415. However, both chipsets are practically the same in so many ways, both have octa core processors clocked up to 1.5GHz each as well as Adreno 405 GPU.

Moreover, the K5 Plus is TheaterMax and VR compatible, allowing users to experience virtual reality. Other than this and the two factors mentioned above, the rest of the specs remain pretty much the same with the K5.
It is now available nationwide in Lenovo stores and authorized dealers for Php8,999. This is 2000 pesos more than what the K5 is asking, but then again, it has slightly improved specs sheet, not to mention free ANT VR and TheaterMax Controller on every purchase.
