After the official global announcement of Samsung about halting the production of the Galaxy Note 7 due to the still unresolved and "mysterious" overheating of its battery, Samsung Philippines issued its own statement and guidelines on what Filipinos should do with their units.
Samsung Philippines urges all the Galaxy Note 7 users, whether they have the original one or the replacement unit, to power down their devices, bring it to the store where they purchase it and exchange it to a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge plus cash for the SRP difference or ask for a full refund.

For those who got their units from either Globe and Smart, they have a different procedure in regards to exchange or replacement, so better visit the store where you obtained it to have further information and assistance.
