| Nokia 6 To Be On Sale Tomorrow At Lazada for Php18,590 |
Hellotronics, one of the premier gadget distributors in the Philippines, in partnership with Lazada, brings the first ever Android smartphone of Nokia to the Filipinos, the Nokia 6!
The Nokia 6 sports a 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. Meanwhile, the camera section has 16MP rear-mounted module, and an 8MP front-facing one for taking selfies. Other notable specs are dual SIM with LTE connectivity, micro USB with OTG, fingerprint sensor, 3000mAh battery, and runs on the latest Android Nougat.

This comeback handset of the once mighty Finnish firm was officially released in China earlier this month, and was sold out in just under a minute. Surprisingly, Hellotronics managed to get their own stocks, and tomorrow those will be on sale through Lazada for an asking price of Php18,590.
This is a bit steep compared to the SRP in China, which is CNY1,699 or about Php12.3K when converted directly. However, considering the law of demand and supply, taxes, marketing costs, and more, the price seems to be "reasonable". But, looking into a different perspective, there are lots of devices available in the local market that people can buy with that amount.
