| Vivo Philippines to Unveil the V5s this May 19 |
Local selfie fans were impressed when Vivo Philippines launched perfect selfie V5 phones – the V5, V5 Plus, and V5 Lite. Now the top five premium global smartphone brand is set to unveil the newest addition to the perfect selfie family this May, the Vivo V5s.
The Vivo V5s was first launched in India late last month, the new perfect selfie phone has a 20-megapixel front camera with bright f/2.0 aperture and softlight flash for better selfies, groufies, and wefies. Meanwhile, the main shooter comes with a 13-megapixel camera, which has ultra-high definition mode that can render up to 52-megapixel photo printouts.
It is said to be positioned between the original V5 and the flagship V5 Plus. It has the same chipset with the former, which is MediaTek MT6750, but comes with the same amount of RAM and ROM as the latter, 4GB and 64GB respectively.

Another interesting feature of this handset is the App Clone, which allows users to log on to two different accounts. As far as we know, the current supported applications are BBM, WhatsApp, Line, and Viber. We do not know yet if it supports Facebook, and it other apps will be added to the list.
The new Vivo perfect selfie phone will be unveiled at SM North EDSA Annex this coming May 19. Price wise, that's yet to be revealed, but in Thailand it cost THB9,,990, and SRP in India is INR18,990, or about Php15K when converted directly to our currency.
