Kata M4s Now on Pre-Order for Php13,999; Octa Core w/ 4,3500mAh Battery |
More than a week ago, we brought the news regarding the greatest and most powerful device Kata has ever-made, the Kata M4s. The first time we wrote about it, our initial info is that it will retail below Php12K, but now, its asking price higher than expected.
According to Kata Philippines Facebook page, the Kata M4s is now up for pre-order with an SRP of Php13,999. We know that there will be lots of violent reactions with the official price tag, but be reminded that Kata is an international brand, and the Kata M4s has really good specs, and even have several things on its sleeve that other phones do not have.
For one, it has huge 4,350mAh battery, which is far bigger than similarly priced OPPO F1s Upgrade with a 3,075mAh juice pack. It even has USB Type-C port, which is still pretty scarce and even some flagship devices lack thereof.
Of course, we still hope an immediate price cut or mark down, especially that it will face tough competitions, not to mention more established or popular brands. But, it is Kata's decision to price it that way, and it is also their job to convince the consumers to buy it at Php13,999. Let's wait and see until the numbers are in.
