Vivo is the first smartphone brand to feature an under-display fingerprint technology, which will be carried out by an independent button under the screen, behind the metal case, or in the frame.

Compared to old capacitive and optical fingerprint recognition technologies, Vivo Under Display is based on the Qualcomm Fingerprint sensor that doesn’t require a physical button to work. It has ultrasound from the sensor, which penetrates an OLED display up to 1.2mm thick.

The brand also boasts its latest DSP Photography Solution that is said to improve the backlighting and night scene photography. It is designed to give users a high quality and accurate exposure and brightness to achieve a photo that matches the actual image seen by the human eye.

Apart from improving its processing speed, the solution can also reduce shot noise that will help the device to level up the beautification effect of the camera’s Face Beauty Mode.

Also, Vivo has released its newest High-Fidelity audio solution that is equipped with a customized DAC decoding chip, as well as a customized headphone amplifier. With this, SNR, dynamic range, distortion and output power are enhanced.
