| Moto Z2 Play Launching in PH this July 19 |
Just weeks since its regional launch in Bangkok, Thailand, the Moto Z2 Play will reach the Philippine shore in a few days time, to be exact, five days from the posting date of this article.
The Moto Z2 Play is the second generation of its kind, it still has 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD resolution topped with Corning Gorilla Glass for added protection. On the inside, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 (also known as Snapdragon 625 Turbo) octa core processor clocked up to 2.2GHz each paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. No info yet, which exact model will arrive in the country, but if we will based on its predecessor, it might be the 3GB/32GB combination.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Z2 Play opted to use lower resolution module, but with brighter f/1.7 aperture versus Z Play's 16MP f/2.0. Meanwhile, the front selfie snapper remained to be 5MP f/2.2.
The other notable specs are dual Nano SIM with LTE connectivity, fingerprint sensor, NFC, 3000mAh battery, runs on Android Nougat, and of course, full compatibility with Moto Mods.
No pricing yet, but the international price tag is pegged at USD408, which translates to about Php20.5K when converted directly to our currency. Therefore, we can expect that local pricing would somewhat similar to that of the last year model, which is Php22,999.
