| Transcend Launches StoreJet 600, A Portable SSD for Mac |
Storage and multimedia products manufacturer Transcend Information Inc. recently released its fast and stylish portable SSD for Mac – the StoreJet 600.
Specifically designed for Mac users, the Transcend StoreJet 600 is encased in a metallic casing that flaunts an appealing space-gray color, which complements the appearance of Mac devices. It sports the latest USB 3.1 Gen 2 interface, and meets UASP standards to ensure a transfer rate of up to 470 MB/s.
To make sure that the device can match any of the Mac devices, both a USB Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to Type-A cable are included in the package to accompany Mac models utilizing the Thunderbolt 3, USB Type-C, or USB 3.0 interface.
Aside from having been pre-formatted with the HFS+ file system, it also supports Time Machine backup that is ready to act as backup storage anytime.
The StoreJet 600 for Mac portable SSD is available in 240GB capacity, and is backed by Transcend’s three-year limited warranty. Meanwhile, local pricing is yet to be announced.
