| SJCAM SJ8 Pro Announced; Dual-Screen, Ambarella H22S85, Sony IMX377 |
Housed in a 30M IP68 water resistant casing, the SJ8 Pro features two screens – one works as the main display, while the other is located at the front of the device. On that note, it boasts a 2.33-inch IPS LCD touchscreen, and a 0.96-inch front screen.
Inside, it is powered by Ambarella H22S85 system-on-chip that is capable of encoding in both H.264 (AVC) and H.265 (10-bit HEVC-10). It is driven by a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 for advanced analytics, too.
The device is geared with Sony IMX377 sensor, as well, to capture best images and footages. It can shoot 4K recording clocked at 60fps, while on 1080p resolution, it can do 120fps. Also, it is packed with 1200mAh battery.
The SJCAM SJ8 Pro will be available in January or early February 2018, while its price is yet to be announced.
