| Epson Exhibits Innovative Solutions at the 4th Retail Technology and Innovation Summit Asia |
The occasion was organized by Escom Events and gathered some of our stakeholders, decision makers, thought leaders, and disruptors from the hospitality industry. They share their expertise and valuable experiences in utilizing the latest trends and innovations to stay competitive in the ever-changing digital economy.
Maria Lourdes Yaptinchay, director of Sector Planning Bureau of Department of Trade and Industry said during the event, "The country’s retail sector sets to be more dynamic and is poised for further growth in the coming years. This development is driven by several factors, such as the increased consumer spending due to the decrease in unemployment rate, the growth of demand due to the onset of organized retail, and the proliferation of omnichannel business approach."
According to Mr. Eduardo Bonoan, Director of Marketing Division, Epson Philippines, said that retailers should bring more convenience and better experience to their customers because the challenge is to address the demands of the country’s young consumers.
“In today’s digital shift, businesses are urged to create more meaningful engagements with their customers. Whether it’s online or in physical establishments, it always boils down to how the experience is conveyed to the customers,” added Bonoan. “Moreover, Epson aspires to help these businesses achieve their goals with the latest innovations and solutions.”

The world's largest manufacturers of computer printers also showed its advanced solutions that can help businesses to innovate and create customer experiences that may lead to better business outcomes. It can also support better customer engagement, increased sales, and more efficient cost management.

During the event, Epson showcased POS receipt printers, label printers and projectors. The guests were also shown how they will apply a virtual approach in dealing business operations. Now using advanced all-in-one systems instead of the previous tablet-enabled receipt printers, Epson also supports the ideal mobile POS solution using cloud platforms.
