| Honor 10 Unveils in PH; Flagship Smartphone for Only Php23,990 |
The Honor 10 sports a 5.84 inches display with a Full HD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio, and yes, it has a notch! In terms of build quality, it has an aluminum frame sandwiched by the front and back glass. Under the hood, it packs the high-end HiSilicon chip, which is the Kirin 970, the same octa core chipset found in the Huawei P20 and Mate 10 series. The variant for the local market is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of non-expandable storage as it has no MicroSD card slot.
Camera wise, it has dual rear shooters composed of 16MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture plus a 24MP sensor, and supported by the NPU processor, which allows it to recognize more than 500 scenarios in 22 categories in real-time. Simply put, it can easily identify multiple objects in a single picture. On the other side, it comes with 24MP front snapper with AI 2.0 technology for intelligent selfies as it is able to detect tons of facial details, supports studio lighting effect, and accurate bokeh. There is no Leica branding here, but the AI approach and technology are indeed interesting.

The other key selling points of the Honor 10 are the 3400mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging capability, front-mounted ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and runs on the latest Android Oreo.
It is competitively priced at Php23,990, the most affordable flagship device in the Philippines to date, and will be up for pre-order on Shopee starting May 1 until June 4 with the actual sale date on June 6, 2018. Those who will reserve their unit will get a Php1000 Shopee voucher, which they can use to purchase the Honor 10 to get additional discount, bringing down the price to just Php22,990. In addition, the first 100 who will register will get a free JBL speaker worth Php2,999.
