| Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Arrives in PH for Php11,990; Boasts Snapdragon 636, 4GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras, 4000mAh Battery |
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 sports a 5.99-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa core processor, the same chipset found on the recently released Asus Zenfone 5, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.

In terms of photography department, it is equipped with dual rear cameras, the first among the Redmi series, a 12MP f/1.9 + 5MP f/2.0. Meanwhile, the front-facing one comes with 13MP module, LED selfie light, and Beautify 4.0. Both cameras are AI assisted.
The other notable specs are the huge 4000mAh battery, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual SIM with LTE connectivity, and runs on MIUI 9 based on Android Oreo.
It will be available this coming May 15 through Lazada for a very attractive asking price of Php11,990.
