The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. As a gaming phone, it is equipped with a very capable octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor with Adreno 509 GPU, which is based on 14nm FinFET manufacturing process, it is the same chipset found inside the Asus Zenfone 5. In terms of memory, the version for the local market has 3GB of volatile memory, and 32GB of on-board storage. Moreover, it runs on stock Android Oreo rather than the heavily skinned Zen UI.
As a member of 'battery king' line, it packs a huge 5000mAh battery for longer game time. In addition, it supports fast charging, that is 2 hours and 42 minutes from 0 to 100%. And, has up to 35 days standby time, according to Asus.

Camera wise, it has dual bokeh shooters on its back composed on 13MP and 5MP sensors. The former has f/2.2 aperture, 80-degree view angle, and Phase Detection Auto Focus, while the latter is tasked for depth sensing. Meanwhile, the front snapper has an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 85.5-degree view angle, and accompanied by softlight LED flash.
Other notable specs are triple card slot, fingerprint sensor, NXP smart amplifier, 3.5mm audio jack, and the slightly ageing Micro USB 2.0 port.
The pre-registration for interested buyers starts tomorrow, June 8, and the actual sale will officially go online via Lazada on June 25. It will also appear at FRAGFEST 2018 from June 9 to 10 at the SM Cyberzone Annex at SM North EDSA, which gives the ZenFans and the public the opportunity to experience this gaming phone.
The ZenFone Max Pro is priced aggressively for only Php9,995, which is indeed a good value for money!
