The 2019 World Photography Awards will have two new categories in the Professional competition -- the Brief and Documentary. The Brief category will put the photographer’s abilities in producing a body of work on a specific theme, which for this year will be ‘Identity.’

For the Documentary category, participants will be tasked to create bodies of work that portrays facts about a chosen subject, expressing more insight in terms of contemporary issues and news.
Photographers from all over the world can also join the Awards’ four competitions which include Professional, Open, Youth, and Student.
